Oslofjord Triathlon offers several regular joint training sessions for its members. Here is an overview

Fixed joint training sessions

Swimming

  • Sognsvann: Swim training at 18:00 on Tuesdays from the water is warm enough
  • At the start of the season, a separate swimming session is arranged, especially for beginners.
  • Pool training: Free swim training for members at NIH and Økern bad.Members get access via the Spond group.
  • svom parish waterThe most common route is to swim to the pier and back (which is 865 meters each way), but in Sognsvann there are many opportunities for both longer and shorter routes. If the weather is nice, we sometimes end the sessions with a barbecue, which is announced on Oslofjord's Facebook group in advance of the swim. At the start of the season, we organize a separate swim in Sognsvann especially for beginners since for many it is a little scary to step out of the pool into the dark and deep water.

    Cycling

  • Ant's spinning: Indoor spinning sessions.
  • Bicycle training: No fixed times, but agreed in the joint training group on Facebook.
  • Running

  • Voldsløkka: Running training on Mondays in spring, summer and fall.
  • Bislett: Running sessions at Bislett Stadium winter
  • Triathlon

  • Bogstad training triathlon: Training triathlon at Bogstad from approximately the end of April to October, every other Thursday at 18:30.
  • Hverven Training Triathlon: Training triathlon at Hvervenbukta, every other Thursday at 18.30.
  • Recommendations for swimming
    Swimming with Buoy: Recommended for safety and to be able to bring valuables safely. Contact the board to purchase an O3 buoy.
